Sue Daniel Workshops

Sue Daniel is a psychodramatist (Trainer, Educator & Practitioner – TEP). She is also an individual and group psychotherapist, and consulting psychologist in private practice in South Yarra. Living in Melbourne, she also practices online. Sue is the Director of the Psychodrama Institute of Melbourne (PIM) and Founder of both the Moreno Psychodrama Society (MPS) and the Australian and Aotearoa Board of Psychodrama (AABP). 

In 2026, Sue is providing a range of services online within Australia and Internationally. The experiential group which commenced in November 2020: ‘Onscreen’ – Explorations in virtual reality through Psychodrama continues on the 1st Monday of every month. Her  ongoing monthly workshops in India are also continuing. A new year-long training course, ‘Sociometry Online’, held 4 weeks over 4 terms, begins in March. All groups are in English.

For almost 50 years, Sue continues to conduct psychodrama and sociometry training, supervision workshops and seminars in Australia and other countries including Japan, India, Slovenia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Russia, Estonia, New Zealand (Aotearoa), Sweden, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Norway, Turkey, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, England, Israel, Austria, USA, Colombia, Singapore, China, Bangladesh, Croatia, the Ukraine, Lithuania and Taiwan.

Sue is active in the development of psychodrama throughout the world. She teaches and lectures in Australia and overseas in communities, universities and organisations. Her work in Japan began in 1986 and continues to this day. She became the first foreign Visiting Professor at the Muroran Institute of Technology, Muroran University in Hokkaido, Japan.

In 2025, she gathered together 18 contributors, all trained in Morenian Psychodrama who have written about their use and applications of role reversal in a wide range of professions and environments. The launch of the resulting book, ‘Reverse Roles: Seeing the world through another’s eyes’, is to be held in Melbourne in February 2026.
